A little bit of sanding, a little bit of primer

Had about an hour to work today, so I did a bit of work on the hallway. I filled in the small imperfections on the wall behind the piano where I have opened up the staircase, did the final sanding, wipe down, and primer/sealer. Next I can put the final coat of paint on there and put the piano back! Soon soon....

Mini night delayed one day in order to match the family's schedule better. On the menu tonight, rear subframe! Here's what I am starting with:

I've stripped the old subframe of all the parts and found that the old subframe is pretty rusty. Good thing that the new bodyshell came with a new(ish) rear subframe.

First task, clean up the surface rust, add gussets and weld up the seams:

Now I need to finish cleaning up the radius arms and order some more POR15 so I can paint the subframe. I also need to go and get some more Waxoyl to fill the crevices and make sure that this subframe lasts!
